New Member Says "HI"
Hello to everyone at Club Cobra. I'm a brand new member who will be recieving his SPF next week. It's # 2 for me in the past 10 years and I'm really excited. It's SPO2546, Galaxy Blue, Winbledon White Stripes w/ roundels, rookie stripes on left front fender. Motor is from Smeding, a 351 bored/stroked to 427ci topped with 4x2 48 IDA Webers. Trans is a TREMEC
T600. The rest is pretty much standard fare. Just wanted to say how much I've enjoyed reading the posts and replys, lots of great info! Thanks for giving newbies like me a place to go for everything Cobra. Thanks, Bruce |

I was looking at the Smeding engines last night. They look pretty nice. Let us know how you like it. I might be in the market for one in a little while. I am looking for an idle with a real lope and the power to back it up. |
Smeding is in sacramento california they are a big deal there with the drag strip close to them....

We have around 30 people in the directory. Some are in the process of building. We try to get together on the second Saturday of each month for a cruise, but the heat has us slowed down right now. No one seems interested in cruises right now. We have met at a couple of car shows on Saturday nights and just had the birthday ice cream social for the birthday folks. We are always looking for more people to be involved. The Austin club hosts the Texas Cobra Club Meet the last weekend in March. 2009 had 106 cars show up. This year it was in San Marcos and may be there again in 2010. Mike keeps our directory for club members. He is cobrabowtie on the Yahoo group.
