Insurance for unassembled cobra during transport and constuction?

I am looking for any info on insurance company willing to provide insurance for my kit from the time I pick it up at A&C to when it is road ready. As Many of my fellow kit builders know homeowners insurance dosent cover any vehicle that is not for proporty maintenance so even locked in my garage the large investment in my cobra kit is unprotected. If anyone can point me in the right direction! I live in western NY if that helps. Thanks, Sam.

Sam,

I had the same concerns as my "pile of parts" was starting to tally up to a significant amount. I called around to half a dozen "specialty" insurance places but got nowhere. It's neither a home item nor a car so there is no insurance for it. Remember to lock the doors and don't leave any flammables by it I guess...

I'm basically trying to get to a running car as quick as possible to get the insurance on it, so paint, interior, etc. will wait.
