It's called "simply lovely" :)

Thanks D. I do too.

Tony, I call it Viking Blue....but somebody else might call it Azzuro Metallica.

Cheers,
Glen

Super nice alright.....I think its a great idea getting Pace to paint the car. Such a messy job and the mess it makes on the chassis and everything else can be completely avoided.....

Looking forward to seeing the painted body on the chassis.

That's a winner right there, bodywork and paint are excellent. Soon it will be time to start putting the bits together, got your spanners ready ?

Some might say I get a little excited over my car and OK (almost) every FIA has FIA wheels, but does this look good or what?

The roll-over bar is well on the go.

Craig tells me that the bonnet/hood scoop is well down the track now. The rivet-on version was finished some time ago, but in my application, it will be integral with the bonnet, and that's nearing completion.

Also, the fuel filler and body mounting is being worked on. On the FIA, it's on the rear deck, ie just ahead of the front edge of the boot/trunk.

More pics to follow!

Once these items are cleared, progressing AP2289 to roller stage will be quite straightforward.

Cheers,
Glen

albanycobra 07-23-2016 07:08 AM
