PDX Cobra's outlaw style build.

Everyone remembers the moment they decided they wanted a Cobra. For me it was soon after my Dad showed me Gumball Rally when I was kid. I still watch it once or twice a year.

I'll be using this thread to chronicle the trials, tribulations, and triumphs of my build.

Stay tuned for updates...

Good luck. Looking forward to your vision for the cobra.

Well I went to look at the potential donor car last night and unfortunately I think the search must continue.

I have another option on my list and I'll try and take a look at it this weekend if I can find some spare time.

I assume you're looking for a Mustang donor for a FFR build? Take a look at CoPart.com, they auction off thousands of wrecked, flooded, hail damaged, etc salvage cars. Might be a good place to find a donor cheaply. Cars on there are usually very inexpensive and you might find one that you can use.

I've got something a little different in mind as far as a donor vehicle

Tip

MPS Auto Salvage, outside of Atlanta, specializes in late model Mustangs and they do FFR drive-trains. I bought a temporary motor from them for my project, to get to drive it while building the good motor, and was very impressed with their service. Connect with Leon there.

They used to do a bunch of work with the Mustang magazines back in the day. My engine came well packaged for the trip. First class.
