New 13" brakes coming soon

Emerson Motorsports will have a 13" brake and spindle assembly to replace the Mustang 2 spindle. The rotor will be of the directional type 1 1/4" wide. The hub will accept 5 on 4 1/2" or 5 on 5 lug patterns. The new spindle will have an adjustable arm for bump steer and the assembly will carry larger bearings. The whole assembly will NOT shim the wheel out as the baer unit does. This unit will fit any car with a Mustang II spindle installed. The calipers are Alcon 4 pistion and can be up graded to a 6 piston unit. We will also have a smaller Assembly for 15" wheels available. The spindle will be available separately to correct bump steer. The price will be substantially less then the Baer unit including the spindle. With a discount to all Club Cobra Members. Availability in Late January. Call or contact us now with your interest and get on the list.

Bill,

This is an upgrade I wanted to include before the spring racing events start. What is the cost of your upgrades. What is delivery time. What warrenty are you offering.

Bill E 02-08-2002 11:38 PM

Workmanship is covered. It will take 3 to 4 weeks to deliver. There are optional rotors available and pad compounds. Club members will get them at our cost for one month. It will be from $1800 to $2300. We are still negotiating with the machinist.

I have 15" wheels. When will a compatible unit be available and who do I contact?

Bill E 02-10-2002 01:37 AM

Mohuska What kind of wheels do you have? We will need the offset and the depth of the wheel as well. Bill E EMS (530)275-0435
