Something a little different... schweeeet Daytona
|
Nice looking car. Is that price in the ballpark I am just asking as I don't know what these would fetch. Soft markets et al...I see no bids either.
Tim |
It will be hard to get $100k for that car! That being said, what a good looking vehicle!
|
WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OH, MY GAWD!!!!
THAT CAR IS WHAT MY GRANDMOTHER WOULD CALL P.F.G. WHAT A FANTASTIC AUTOMOBILE. THE PRICE CERTAINLY WOULD PLACE IT AT THE VERY TOP OF THAT SPECTRUM. I WOULD THINK THAT FOR THE RIGHT BUYER IT MIGHT BE A DEAL. FOR ME, IT'S ABOUT 20K TO THE HIGH SIDE. BUT, IT SURE IS A PRETTY CAR. (BTW - - GRANNY'S P.F.G. IS "PLUM FRIGGIN GORGEOUS".) Y'ALL HAVE A REALLY GREAT DAY, BLACKJACK |
Wow, a real honest to goodness 2001 Shelby Daytona Coupe Cobra . I can't believe my eyes!!!!
|
Nice looking car. That's the first Daytona I've seen in red. Red's not one of my favorites, but I've seen so many in blue, it's nice to see something different.
SpecialK, It clearly states "Upstate Daytona Coupe Cobra replica" :JEKYLHYDE Later, |
Cobranut,
I just cut and pasted directly from the ad. I didn't make it up, he did!! |
Nice looking car, and I don't want to tread on any toes here, but why should a Daytona sell for any more than a medium to high-end small block Cobra replica? I don't see any Cobra replicas selling at anywhere near $100K, let alone setting the opening bid at that?!?
For that sort of money, I'll have a GT40 with the lot thanks! |
Where
SpecialK
Where does it say anything about a 2001 Shelby Coupe? Your cut and paste abilities are, at the least, suspect:D Cobranut appears to be correct? Dave Lowell |
e-bay listing title
Here's a actual cut and paste of the e-Bay listing title:
2001 Shelby : Daytona Coupe Cobra Upstate Upstate Daytona Coupe Cobra replica I think the "2001 Shelby" comes from the way the ads are calssified by e-Bay. The title does say what Specialk says, but it also says it is a Upstate replica. The copy of the ad makes it very clear the car is a replica. Greg |
My point was that he got every single possible copyrighted word in his add. He should have added that it is "Coke" red :D
|
SpecialK,
So the ad had words in it that seem to have magical significance to you and your ilk. Only the learning disabled would not recognize that it's a replica. Do you really have a point to make? Instead of appreciating what has clearly been a labor of love for someone as well as a work of art (and a compliment to the legacy of CS if he would open his eyes to appreciate it), all you can do is carp because it's not one of the original six. Don't you ever get bored of reading your own tiresome B$? I know I do. |
