try eBay..

...just took a quick look at eBay.
Search for "Mustang project"...came up with 10 candidates in various stages. Unfortunately, two were Mustang guitars:D

Man are YOU in luck!

I just talked with U2 who frequents the net about his Mustang that he has in storage. Try contacting:
u2.rn@mindspring.com
for further information.
Good Luck.

66 Convertable Structural work all done = tons of other stuff. Check it out!!!

Bill Wells 08-03-2002 06:47 PM

wow, speaking of U2, he must be in cyber space or outer space as not much online from him in a long time. same for ERA535 Pat and Turk or Jamo...kinda quiet on CC or I have been missing more posts than reading same while maxing out on great weather and cruising opps in Meechingan with less CC surfing time. b

Dan Semko 08-03-2002 07:10 PM

Bill,
U2 was at a conference at Wright Patterson all last week and visited here on Wednesday. Very pleasant gentleman and he didn't even scream once when we went for a spin in the cobra!:D

Bill Wells 08-03-2002 07:42 PM

ah yes, small world. I was born at Wright Patterson AFB in 19xx. My father was an Army Air Corps Col and commander/ pilot in WWII serving primarily in New Guinea . I smile fondly as I pass by Wright AFB questions or issueson my trips South from Motown. B.

The Door is open

Bill,
We live west of Dayton off I-70. If you're in the neighborhood, the door is always open!;)

Bill Wells 08-03-2002 08:09 PM

Dan, will do...I have an aunt in Kettering, I am an alum from Miami Univ in Oxford Ohio and get down there too , have relatives in Wash Court House and Jeffersonville. Dont' get down there often, but get down there every now and then. . B

Back on Line

Bill,
You have to go see Dan's place. His Cobra garage and many other garages are well worth the visit, not to mention his very nice SPF. He's not a bad guy either. Every time I pass through Wright-Patt I go to the museum, it is truely amazing.
Jeff

MPIII,
If you are interested in my '68 Mustang GT Fastback, 302 4V, 4-speed, E-mail me ASAP. It will no longer be available in 1 week.

The best place to locate a car like that is at Vintage Mustang forum.com. I have several mustangs depending on what your looking for . Give me some info in an email and I will try to help. Olaf

lots on ebay

Brad Pfeifer 08-08-2002 05:59 PM

MPIII,

Depends on what you mean by a 'project car'. I restore old Mustangs and can tell you that statement covers a lot of stuff, and much of it is garbage.

ebay is one route. Unfortunately you bid and perhaps win something you have not seen in person - and now you own it.

See www.karmustang.com for a better idea on what the cars cost; before, during, and after.

Check www.traderonline.com they generally have many cars, and you can sort by year and state - then look at ones closer to you. I just went there and found 105 Ohio State 1965- 1968 Mustangs for sale.

Also, look for a local Mustang club - they probably know someone who has a car locally. ((Oddly enough, we just had a woman come to our club meeting, she had Mustang in storage in Ohio while she was in the Air Force. She is retired now and has decided to sell her '65 Coupe. It is flawless, and only has about 15,000 miles on it. Everything is still original on it!))

Bill -

We have been pretty quiet on CC - actually what we have been doing is e-mailing the living hell out of each other.

It is not uncommon to have 80-110 messages waiting when I come home from a trip.

There are times when it is so funny I think someone should save them all for a book! Other times........

:3DSMILE:

As you may remember Turk owns www.gasholes.com - as this will become operational soon there is sure to be a lot of BS going down there!

CC will ebb and flow no doubt. Our upcoming Beale Deale promises to be noteworthy and I am sure Jamo will do his usual great photo-documentary on it!

Take care!

Pat

Tell me more!

Brad,
Tell me more about that Mustang. Is it in California now or still in Ohio? Any info on engine size, color, price etc will be greatly appreciated.

Thank You,;)

Brad Pfeifer 08-08-2002 11:02 PM

Dan,

See your email for info on the Mustang. Unfortunately, I was wrong, it was a '66. The rest is true.

Jamo, Turk, U2, 535,....

As an ex-gas passer (350th) at Beale, I would like to be included. I was stationed at Beale, threw up there. And we didn't gas no stink'n U2's, yep, no dragons. Only Snakes. Only Habu got my juice. But, drivin' the chase car with the U2's is really cool.

U2, no diss on you of course. Y'all were to cool to refuel.

Brad,
You are more than welcome to join us. I'll E-mail the planned events and dates. I flew tankers at Kadena for 5 years, so you're OK in my book.:3DSMILE:

Thanks for all your great advice on Mustangs. I think I may just save my money and buy an ERA 289 FIA.

Thanks..........Morry
