How can a car as good as this not get a single bid????? Jesper, that's a beautiful car, and with your proven previous experience with FFR, I'm sure it's put together as well as the photos indicate.

I always liked the look of the Incon turbo kits while they were being made for the Mustangs. To have the horsepower of those turbo kits in the aero-efficient shape of the Daytona must be a match made in heaven.

Good luck with the sale.

Jesper,

Refer to my email for the details of how to better market your car. I think you'll find it well worth the effort.

Bill S.

PS: If you don't want to be bothered, bring it down here, I'll do it all for you :D :D :D .....................

Factory Five's Factory car sold on ebay for a pinch over 40k. Don't know how that compares to this car in terms of equipment/options/power, etc

mine now ;)

it wasn't their factory car though. just a very well built customer's car that they used to showcase their product.

I haven't put A/C in the car but it is available from the factory.

If the car you are refering to was in the showroom, it was Gary Cheney's Coupe and it sold on e-bay for $49,000 ~1yr ago.

Factory Five Racing
Daytona
Coupe

FFR# 2199CP

Painted Electron Blue Metallic with
Polar White stripes

$45,000 obo

Professionally built 306
cubic inch engine with twin turbos feed through a Mid Shifted Tremec TKO
transmission (with 35th Anniversary shifter knob) attached to the engine by a Lakewood
scattershield and Ram Power grip Clutch, next to the fully independent coil
sprung rear end. The
top quality of this car starts with the DSS 306 Pro Bullet short block with the
optional stud girdle and windage tray and a Comp Cams "Turbo"
camshaft, Melling hi volume oil pump, and a hi capacity Speedway hi capacity oil
pan.
The Edelbrock Victor Junior heads were assembled with chromemolly, hardened push
rods and Crane 1.6 roller rockers, while the intake manifold is a matched Edelbrock
Victor 5.0 unit. Rounding the top of the engine out is a 75mm throttle
body, 42lbs/hr injectors, and  Incon Systems Turbos and Intercooler setup,
finally a
MSD 6BTM ignition.
Other attention to details are Polyurethane Mounts for both the engine and
transmission, along with Aeromotive 500 lbs./hr fuel pump, Aeromotive Fuel Pressure
Regulator, Aeromotive 3/8" sending and 5/16" return lines leading to and from
the 15 gallon Fuel Safe racing gas tank (equipped with foam and safety bladder).
Brakes are another area where this cars engineering and attention to detail
really shine, on the front of the car you have a combination of custom valved
coilovers, Stainless Steel
Brake Corps slotted front rotors coupled with Wilwood 6 piston calipers, a
Wilwood proportioning valve, Stainless braided brake lines. Other items worth
mentioning are the entire exhaust system which is ceramic coated, a Torsen Rear
locking differential,  Autometer Ultra-lite gauges with a shift light, and
a Kirkey Intermediate road racing seats, removable 14" leather steering
wheel, powder coated frame Spec Racer valved coil over shocks, and the Cobra
"R" wheels
(17"x 9"
with 275/40R17 tires on the front, and 17"x 10.5" with 315/35R17 on the rear ).
This same car has been used in the Factory Five showroom, along with being the
Carlisle and SEMA show car at the Factory Five booth in 2001. To duplicate this
car today would cost you $60,000.
