Thanks for all the questions and emails, I'll attempt to answer the most common questions on the car.

Has the car ever been raced? Yes, we ran the NASA series in the southwest in '01. We won our class (PSO) in every race we entered that year. We never had any accidents or wheel to wheel contact. We have also run timed & club events throughout the country with the car.

Has the car been wrecked? No, the car has not been in an accident. It has the original paint from when it was built.

Does it have a windshield? Yes the car has the normal windshield, not the small windscreen. It is street legal and is registered in Arizona as a 1965 year vehicle.

Does it have the 3 link rear? No the car has the Mustang 4 link with tubular lower control arms.

Why sell it without an engine or transmission? Because no one wants to pay for the motor or trans in the car. I have 20K invested (thrown away) in the motor. I produces 467hp and 400 ftlbs torque at the rear wheels, lap after lap. I'm not interested in giving the motor away, it'll go in another project. The current motor has 4 track days on it with less that 700 street/track miles.

How much for the motor & trans? Price for the complete car with the motor & trans is $40K.

I have pictures of the car, just note that they are 1 meg each, so they download rather slow. I'll attempt to get them on a website soon.

I have video following Nelson at Road America. This cobra stops, turns in and handles well. You don't run 2:32's in a cobra at Road America without a well set up chasis. If you want to go fast in a cobra, pick your own motor and power level, spend the 20k on this spec racer, and go. Or, go buy a cobra else where and spend a bunch of money and 18 months sorting out the chassis and brakes. Scott
