Easy way to shrink photos

Just right mouse click on the photo you want to post and then click on "open with"

Open it up in Microsoft Paint and then click on "image"

Then "stretch/Skew"

and then just dial down the horizontal and vertical percentages until the photo is under 40 kbs.

Sorry for my Completion/Continuation mix up! Must have gotten too much Snake Oil on my typing fingers.

I'll just stand by the Angliss-Shelby letters and press release.

So much to learn!

Ya know the car on e-bay (a BNL series) is a darn nice car. Now I'm kinda curious about the details of Pauls car and it differs?

(,,,,,,BNL is the Bare Naked Lady series, quite in vogue right now)!

Some guys are very good race drivers, but can they run with the Big Dogs? Some guys know a lot about Cobra's, but can they run with the Club Cobra experts? Seems like I'm STILL learning about Cobras! Club Cobra IS the Big Dogs, when the green flag drops, the BS stops! :D

Mrmustang,
I'am only on the second page of this thread so far, but your comments have to be the funniest thing I have ever read on this site so far. Your timing is perfect! I cant wait to see how this one ends.

Bishop Jay

My apologies. I was basing the "Preacher" reference on what I presummed was a loss of status due to the reports of your involvement with young boys. Glad they reinstated you.:JEKYLHYDE

Ooh look - a blue one.

Unique580hp 01-24-2004 03:46 PM

Paul,

It appears that you have a really nice aluminum Cobra which is actually worth a lot of money in its own right (if it was done correctly and not abused)

In the future when you are selling any car, whether it be this Cobra or a 1990 Ford Escort, do yourself a favor and only state the honest facts. Your buyers will appreciate it and you will sleep better at night.

That goes for all of us, not just you.

I don't mean to preach, but I (like a lot of us) have purchased things that were not as they were presented and really felt cheated and used.

Enjoy your Cobra while you have it. It looks really nice.:)

Just an FYI, that stunning black Aluminum CSX4000 series car just sold for $105,000. Earlier, a 1967 GT500 (with the incorrect engine no less) sold for $260,000................Guess the market has indeed spoken..............

And if you caught it, one of the Speed Channel announcers said it was asembled from old parts. Maybe we need to jump over to speedtv.com.

Jamo 01-24-2004 09:24 PM

As much as I admire Alain and Brock Yates (heck...grew up reading his stuff!), their ignorance (not stupidity, mind you) was obvious. Most notable were their comments about the GT 40s.

And yet, hot rods and GT 500s with non-matching motors were heralded by them.

KobraKarl 01-24-2004 09:24 PM

John boy ,

I did catch that ....I think they were just ad libbing old heresay.....not quoting the seller of that particular car.

gene giambona 01-24-2004 11:35 PM

Paul,

I must say that you are one lucky guy....the guys on club cobra took it easy on you and showed some restraint. I think they all gave you the benefit of the doubt.

I'm glad this site became a quick education lesson for you about the cars we all love. I'm sure your sense of humor saved you from being thrown to the lions.

P.S. I'm the proud owner of an ORIGINAL Superformance replica!

Take care and good luck selling the car

Doug I 01-25-2004 03:08 PM

ahhhh but Gene ...... is it a blue one ?

with stripes ?

:-)

paul@lineback 01-25-2004 07:50 PM

Is the blue one with stripes thing, sarcasism or what.?
Cause if ya don't like the color, Me and Paulie Jr. can break out the fingure paints, and krylon, and you can pic your color.
:)
That is when he arrives anyway.(9 more weeks )and hes here. This thread is going to be the least of my worries?
