Hope car is everything you wanted in a cobra,Did some one check motor out? with that 427 not using 100 octane could cause internal damage-I would question only because he had said car was out of fuel? The guy does not seem to be the most honest guy around but at least he kept price at 35000 and not keep jerking ernie around.. Good luck car looks great

Congratulations on the car. Allen could have just driven it on up here and I would have been happy to put a few miles on it and try out how it handles in the sharp curves. Shasta Dam and Kesweck Dam roads come to mind. Lots of water to land in if you miss a curve. As for the using 100+ octane gas, that is pretty much a given as the book for my engine called for 104+ and it was just 11 to 1 and I think that one is 12 to 1. No big thing, with your money you can just buy a refinery and then you can sell to all of us at a cut rate. :3DSMILE: Ron :LOL: **) %/ |

Interesting how this all went. At the beginning, it sure looked like a scam. Lets face it an ERA for 25K just doesn't happen every day. I thought the car would be in Africa and it would have to be paid cash in advance via Western Union.
Instead we end up seeing that one of our members getting a good deal on a great car. Congrats Ernie. Turk, you can borrow my trailer anytime but you have to pick it up and bring it back (3000 miles each way). Can't say that I didn't offer. :LOL: Wayne |
The car is sold. Just wanted to thank everybody for looking! I'm sure I will own another cobra later down the road. I am very glad I found this site. I'm sure the new owner can answer all your doubts about this car. It truly is amazing. By the way, the car did run out of gas! Stuff like that just happens at times. Anyway, the car did not seem like a good fit for him. Thanks for stopping by!
