We've seen this before but I can't remember the group - it's been awhile. Our assumption was it was an inside job because this car with it's aftermarket looking wheels in no way/shape/form would bring that money - for real that is! I could be wrong but the thick rollbar assembly resembles a FFR car. Nice car but no 69K w/ 7 days left "nice kind of car".:D

I asked the seller what Manuf. it was and he said the body was from S.A.

It is clearly a FFR by the body mounts located adjacent to the sidepipes, a FFR giveaway.

Oh well, anyone wanna buy mine for $68K?

Junior's got ahold of dads Ebay account....Look at his current auction bidding history...Unless he has recently hit the lottery, or inheirited a large sum of money, your going to see negative feedback left for him, or last minute bid retractions........

Let the seller beware of this Ebay user ID: taximanmusic

I think the seller is now wasting his time. The current bid price is SO high no "serious" bidder will bother. If the current bidder doesn't drop out it's a classic case of "a sucker born every minute".

Sure looks like an FFR to me. I also suspect the seller has no clue as to real market value and may not even be aware that it is indeed an FFR.

Mid $30's, top price (IF that)!

.......after all ERA's are going for mid $30's aren't they? :D

This deal will not happen. Next!

Ernie, you're too much. I hope the ship doesn't sink.%/

It is a Factory Five and an older one, the MK1 model. Small block, no IRS even uses the Mustang Coil springs not Coil overs. Guages are not autometer or VDO not very expensive ones used.
Steering rack is the old mustang power rack not Flaming River rack. I don't see many upgrades to make this worth more than 22-25k. I know beacuse I just sold one like it but with about 2k more in upgrades for that price range.

Excaliber 03-23-2004 06:22 PM

Cracker,,,,,,me too!

I just checked out the link to the web site for this car. UNBELIEVABLE, who ARE these carpet baggers? No question this is an FFR. Offered on the web site for over $90K???? The "hype" on this car is so thick I almost got sick reading this trash.

Amazing what people can get away with!

It's back!!!!

This time it is starting o $30k. I guess the original bids were shams at $69k.

love the all-wood interior. If only it had wooden panels applied to the exterior also, it would be perfect. Like my mom's station wagon in 1972. And yeah, I'm confident that it will do wheelies all day long with drag tires. Can we make the sale contingent on that?
