Market value for Kirkham 289FIA??

I'm considering the purchase of a Kirkham Aluminum-bodied 289FIA that is currently listed on Cobra Country. I've done more studying on ERA and Superformance, but was wondering where true market value is for this type of car. Any advice would be helpful, as I understand the market to be soft at this time.

Thanks in advance,
Greg

Market Value

Well I believe you are looking at the "Jenny Car". It appears to be a well built car that if you do a search on this site, you can learn a lot about this particular car. It was for sale for $60,000 dollars 6 months ago then it was bought by the current owner who in the last few weeks went from wanting $65,000 to now asking $75,000 Dollars. Unless that means there is ten grand in the trunk that was not there the first time he offered it for sale, I do not understand the price increase. In my opinion, Current COBRA Market value=what you are willing to pay and what seller will agree to sell for. Just make sure you "Fit" in the car before you buy it. This is apparently the reason the current owner claims he is selling the car. Good luck to both Seller and Buyer. It looks like a SWEET car!:)

The history of this car is well known. Using the numbers above see what you can negotiate and what you feel comfortable with.

Look and you will find a great deal but remember.....you drive the car, not the deal.
