Shelby CSX 8000 Series
Does ANYBODY have ANY information about Shelby 8000 Series "slabside" Cobras (289 body)???? Availablility -- Prices -- dealers???:D

They are available but kinda rare. I have seen 2 personally. Very nice, also very pricey. $45 k for a box o parts and $60 k for a roller. $95 k and up for a driver. According to Jim Wallace, their sales guy, the wait is quite long. Each is kind of a one-off built by Special K hisself! Hard to accept the big difference between the plastic 427 at $39/42 k for a roller and $ 60 K for a plastic 289. I inquired about one and was given the brouchure and a take it or leave it price. No dealing on options or changes. Shelby and Avis have not met.
