Cheap Super Performance on Ebay
Just saw an SPF on Ebay for a buy it now price
of $3,700. Modified 700 Series?, vin # D00058?. Located in North East Kingdom, VT?. Another one of those "Approved Bidder" deals. Do people really send these guys money? Sorry I didn't include the internet #'s - haven't learned that process yet but it is listed under Shelby in the sport cars arena. |

I went looking for the SP car auction. It was gone with yet another one taking it's place in the long list of weird (read suspicious) cobra deals that have appeared on Ebay lately.
Ebay's becoming nothing but a minefield these days. My personal favorite recent auction that at least had a start and an end is: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...e=STRK:MEWA:IT This one ended yesterday. Check the bid history... The car, listed by a car dealer, lanquished in the high thirties on a no reserve auction until the last few minutes when it soared to an amazing 55,100 thanks to a bit of astute bidding by suprise suprise, another CAR DEALER coincidentally located all of 123 miles away from the seller. However, to Ebay's semi-credit, on Monday I turned in a seller I suspected was fradulent and by Tuesday morning his two auctions for a high end guitar and digital camera were gone and the account pulled.
