Track Ready FFR Spec Racer For Sale
********************************************
POSTING THIS FOR A FRIEND. THIS IS A PROVEN TRACK CAR AND UP TO THE TASK. PLEASE CONTACT HANK DONDERO FOR MORE INFORMATION AT: hankdone@comcast.net *********************************************** Just like the header states. See below for deatils. (Includes trailer and spare parts): This is a well sorted out race car from the engine/drive train to the suspension and braking system. The car has been run at numerous open track events and club time trials over the last two years. (Never used in wheel to wheel competition). The engine produces a solid 292 RWHP on the dyno, estimated 350 FWHP, and the torque generated can really be appreciated when accelerating out of a turn or pulling down the straightaway. The suspension has been well thought out and designed with optimum handling based on a very neutral standard. No surprises at turn in, apex, or track out. Fantastic braking capacity allows the driver to brake late and hard without fear of fade or overheating. The Tremec transmission shifts smoothly up and down and with the .8:1 fifth gear the pull on a straight away is noticeablely pleasing. The Spec Racer was constructed with safety, durability and performance in mind. FFR 1776-II is street legal, registered and inspected in Massachusetts, with a clear title. That looks like a very nice car, with an IRS too! I've always liked the idea of the FFR spec racer but thought they were limited to a live axle. Have I been wrong? Can spec racers have the IRS?

IRS In Spec racer
It is available as anoption on the Spec frame. Doesn't comply with the FFR Spec Series rules.
Handles like a dream. Hank FFR 1776-II |
