unbuilt ERA 427
I am selling my unbuilt ERA 427. It has not been touched yet and is just the way it was when I picked it up.
Besides the basic kit as delivered I have the ERA standard rear cage for it and primary and ERA sidepipes to match up with an FE. Here's your chance to get an ERA without waiting in line for 6 months. Only asking what I have into it--$21,400 I can also supply a toploader, 428 block, heads, crank, jag rear, etc. I will try to get some photos posted to my gallery. |
Cost a lot more than $21,400 if ordered today (and take longer than 6 months - more like 11). Looks like a great deal for somebody.

I put some photos in my gallary for those interested in looking. As you can see, it has not been touched and still has the loose parts still taped down.

What is the chassis number?

Looks like #694 on the front view pic Jim. -G

Did the car come with gauges? Both of mine came delivered in the Dash. Are they not installed by ERA now? Just curious.

I would be interested in the car, but it appears the frame is not powder coated or painted. Are there any suspension pieces with the car?
Any chance seing the original list of components from the order sheet. Cosnsidering basic ERA kit is around $20,000 I am trying to find out what all you have and what all is missing.. Yes the cahssis number would help too. TURK |
Jim--yes, the chassis # is 694.
Turk--the chassis is bare, no powdercoat or paint. If I keep the car, I plan to use Rust-Bullet or POR 15 as I was not happy with the powdercoat on my first ERA. They powdercoated over the welds without grinding them smooth first so I wanted to handle that myself. This is a basic kit, no special order parts except the dash is a comp dash but with a glovebox. I deleted the std SW gages on the order as I plan to use a set of Autometers I have. Suspension is what you get from ERA, front spindles only, I have a Jag rear for it, therefore I purchased the standard cage. Again, what you get for $21,400, is the basic car, no frills or options, untouched, as picked up from ERA, the rear cage, ERA primary tubes and ERA sidepipes, no gages unless you want the Autometers for an additional $400. Still looks like a good deal (side pipes, Jag rear & cage are worth $$$$ and the basic kit is $19.7 plus the wait is nearly a year now).
|
The prices John quoted are correct, I just picked up mine in October. What a great car. Don't grind any welds though, they look great under the powdercoat in the raw.
