Superformance 1710 For Sale

For Sale: 2003 Superformance 427S/C #1710. Sunset Red/Titanium stripes. Pictures can be found in my gallery. Less than 1,000 miles and perfect condition. Period-correct 428FE engine with dual quads--professionally built, tuned, and maintained by John Vermeersch at Total Performance. Engine has original FE block and all new internals including: aluminum heads, hydraulic lifters, dual Holley 600 cfm carbs, forged pistons, mechanical high-flow fuel pump, original brass fuel log, etc. A complete engine build sheet will be provided to the buyer. This muscular powerplant develops approximately 450 bhp and 450 ft.lbs. of torque. It's completely dialed in, hooks up easily, and will electrify you every time you drop the hammer. Power is transmitted through a Tremec TKO gearbox. Extras include: wide rear tire option, show-chromed factory wheels (they look terrific with this paint scheme), chromed fire extinguisher, Superformance floor mats, Superformance Car cover, stainless-steel quick jacks, hardwood steering wheel, and Cobra badges. The convertible top, tonneau cover, and sidecurtains have never been used and are still in their covers. This is a fast but very streetable machine. Registered correctly in Michigan as a 2003 assembled vehicle. It would cost you in excess of $60,000 to recreate this awesome snake. Priced at $48,900 obo. Contact Gary at (313) 510-4324 EST, or email: HarleyDet@aol.com
Vehicle is located in Suburban Detroit.

Why?

Wow, this car is a beauty, why are you selling so soon? Only 1,000 miles. A bargain for one lucky guy.

Unfortunately, my business travel does not allow me enough time to drive/enjoy it. Driving it less than 1,000 miles over the last two years is a crime.

Hey Newell are you payin attention?, Here's an opportunity to get your own and leave my wife and My car alone! ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,:3DSMILE:
(Removed Picture ) Sorry, didn't mean to try to hijack your thread, But seriously I did call Newell and told him about your listing and urged him to call about your car, as he is in the Hunt! Good luck, looks like a great car

For those who asked, this Cobra runs on pump gas (premium), and has a Lakewood bell housing.

For those who have asked, Superformance 1710 does have an MSD Ignition with a rev limiter mounted under the glove box.

It's still available.

Hi Gary, What year is the Block? And if possible, could you provide the date code as it is stamped on the block. Sorry for such a picky question, but registering replicas here in California is a bit tricky.

Thanks

Gregg

Gentlemen, I'm happy (and also a little sad) to report that my Superformance Cobra 427 S/C has been sold.
