Traco/Guldstrand Corvette trade for SPF

I am willing to part with my legendary 1987 Traco/Guldstrand Corvette Convertible for a nice Superformance Cobra-Blue cars only. The short list on the Corvette are as follows:

All Aluminum Donovan Fuel Injected 388" Traco built Engine. Donovan Aluminum Block, GM Raised Runner Aluminum NASCAR Heads, Custom Traco Fuel Injection set up utilizing GM TPS, ISC, Runners, etc.-No Maintenance!, Carillo Rods, Callies Crank, Stainless Steel Headers, etc. The best parts money can buy. Engine build was $26,000.00. Dynoed at 472 HP @ 6,900 RPM.

Oil Cooler.

Custom 3" Exhaust by Desert Driveline.

ZF 6 Speed Transmission with McLeod Aluminum Flywheel and Hydraulic "Street Twin" Twin Disc Clutch.

3.55:1 Rear

ZR1 Brakes

Full Guldstrand Performance Suspension.

Epsilon 3 Piece Wheels with Michelin Pilots. 17 X 9 front/ 17 X 11 Rear.

Integrated Roll Bar- Soft top goes up and down normally.

This car was featured in the 1988 Road and Track Top Speed Shootout against mostly $100,000.00+ cars. NASCAR driver Ricky Rudd pushed this car to 172 MPH at the TRC test track in Marysville, Ohio and nicknamed this car "The Mule" because it ran the most laps at speed. Keep in mind, at that time the car had the base 372"/ 380 HP Traco engine that was later upgraded with the 388". Imagine what 100 more HP and 100 less pounds would do!

This car can be driven daily. It has cold A/C, a 500 Watt Denon Stereo System and at 120 MPH in 6 th gear gets 24 MPG!!!!

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for someone who wants a 1 0f 1 car. Nothing sounds like this thing. It's a blast to drive and gets TOO much attention. See pics in my gallery.

I have all receipts since day one. I purchased this car from a personal friend who bought the car new and had the car built. The chassis has 43,000 miles on it. I pulled the engine and transmission 2 years ago and had the engine gone through and the clutch rebuilt by McLeod.

I know a nice SPF car will bring $40-45K. I will put $10K + with this car.

Please feel free to call me for more information on the Corvette. I have owned 3 SPF cars so I won't be talking out of school with you. Thanks!

It's hard to let this car go. It has been somewhat of a legend around here. I have had the car for several years now and am ready for another Cobra. Thanks!

FYI: If I had more $$$ I would never sell it!!!
