When did you buy your kit? When did you start and stop assembly? Under what conditions has the partially assembled kit been stored?
|
Mike,
I purchased the kit in September of 2001 and started work on it in May of 2002. I never "stopped" working on it; I have just made incredibly slow progress with all of the other stuff going on in my life. Now I'm moving into a 90 year old house that needs some work so the Cobra would be sitting for another 3 years unfinished. It has been in my garage the whole time. |
Joe,
Shame you can't hold onto the car for your move to Portland. We have a very active Cobra club up here with a great group of guys. I believe the memberhship is around 100 people now, with around 60 finished cars- many of them are FFR's. Let us know when you make it to Portland and maybe you can start on another car when you get here?- Bob |
I am sure it would be tuff to put a 429 in your car, aren't they set up for small blocks.?? email me DragonSnake
