'66 Mustang GT Coupe - Houston area
'66 GT coupe, candyapple red with black pony interior, 4 speed, 8K rally-pak, A/C, original styled steel wheels. I would rate the car as a number 2 condition. This is a real GT that has spent most of its life in Arizona and is absolutely, positively 100% rust free. The car was heavily undercoated when new and you can see the original candyapple red paint and primer in spots where the undercoating has chipped off. This is an 'A' code car, but was converted to hipo specs in 1979. The engine was rebuilt at that time with all hipo parts except the block and a 9" rear end was added. It runs and drives great and I just installed an air conditioning system from Classic Auto Air. FoMoCo exhaust system with the original hangers, etc. Very few reproduction parts on this car with the exception of upholstery and carpet.
