'65 BDR for sale
Backdraft Racing '65, 427 w/ 351w built by Mustang Specialties boasting over 385 hp, polished and chrome accessories w/ Cobra air cleaner and valve covers, polished SS headers and side pipes w/ heat shields, SS lined engine bay, braided hoses and break lines, 5 speed Tremec, all Smith guages, interior and exterior set up as orig. (see Backdraft Racing's web page for similar photos and description of BMW suspension and rear, Electron Blue w/ white stripes and rondo on hood, black interior w/ brand new OEM leather seats (much more comfortable than came with roller), 2000 miles on car which is garage kept and recently detailed. I am asking $39,950. Yipes! You are correct. Current BDR web dosen't mention the series 5 BMW suspension (coil overs) and rear that they used in my car. A big bonus for you is the car is legally registered in MD as a 65...no inspection, cheap registration and antique tags. If you click on "manufacturing" on BDR's web you will see a good pic of the interrior...mine is black leather w/ correct guages(Smith) in perfect condition. I am a non -smoker, never wet or left open to bleach in the sun, etc. You could also go to a history book and find a pic of a '65 427...and mine is correct in every detail! Regards, Bill |
