WTT my Malibu Boat for a Cobra So. Cal.
I have a 98 Malibu Sunsetter VLX (V-drive)with about 300 hours on it. It's a great boat for skiing, wakeboarding or cruising. It has the Fuel Injected Monsoon engine (325 hp). I'm in Southern California. Pictures can be seen at:

With a "retail value" of around $21,875 (wholesale at $18,301) , how much more are you willing to put into such a trade?

You won't find a v-drive sunsetter anywhere for that price unless it is extremely abused and doesn't have a trailer or any options. I can swing the value of the boat depending on speakers, board racks, tower lights, etc.
A fair price is around 26,000 with out the extras. If you have looked at Tourneyment quality boats you'll have a better idea of what they are worth. I was just on boattrader and there are several direct drive boats going in this price range. This is a V-drive! The trailer is an extreme trailer, dual axle with surge brakes, folding tongue, and ratcheting straps. I do have cash also. Basically if someone is interested in the boat let me know what you have and I can fill you in on further details on the boat. |
