Superformance needed/wanted.

Hi everyone, this is my first post. I'm looking for a Superformance in Wimbledon white/Blue stripes. I have seen one for sale on Consignment in the state of Washington @ Park Place LTD., a Superformance dealer. It's SPF#469, and it's got the FMS 392 stroker in it. It has roughly 2900 miles on it, and it's a 1999 build. Would love some help on valuation on this car, and also if you know of a different Wimbledon White car for sale...can be BB or SB. Thanks very much in advance. :)

Check out McMichael Motorsports website.

Click on the used car button. There is a Superformance in Wimbledon white for sale.

By the way, I am in the market for a used Superformance myself. We will both find what we are looking for. The chase is part of the fun.

I was at Park Place a couple months ago and looked at the car. Its in nice shape. I would have purchased it but there was not enough room in the car for me at 6'5". I did not take it for a test drive but I looked at it inside and out.

Do you know how much $ they want for the car at Park Place?

The one at McMichael Motorsports is also an early build. It has many more miles than the one at Park Place. It has a Vintage Air unit which would make it more useable in Florida which is where the car is.

They are asking 49K, but I'm sure there is some room...

I have my SPF #887 (regretfully) up for sale at a very fair price of $39,500 for a limited time (through 5/8/06).

We are in the middle of purchasing a new home, and I am looking for a little "cushion" in the bank as we finish the purchase process. If the car does not sell before then, it stays.

The car is Royal Blue/White stripes and has a Ford Motorsports crate 351/385hp and 5 speed. Just a little over 20k miles on it. Includes factory hardtop and many extras. I am the only owner (have driven it for 4+ years).

The car is being offered at Stonebridge Motor Company in Corning, NY. Give Don a call if you want to see/drive it. You can email me or respond on CC for more info.

The one at Park Place was 46k and some change. I saw it on ebay a couple days ago also. Not sure what the last bid was.

I was the high bid at the end of the auction, it didn't sell.

Mark, or you on IM now? Would love to talk to you more about that car, since you saw it in person, etc.

kayakjack 04-25-2006 09:13 AM

Jim,

Nice car. Fair price too. The fact that the car has been well used and has some stone chips doesn't bother me. I hope to put stone chips from lots of use on the car I buy.

However, I live in an area the requires me to find a car that has been titled or registered as mid sixties vintage.

I am on a company laptop at work...sshhhhhhh...I am on travel so I do not have my own laptop to get onto IM right now. I would love to talk to you on the phone though. Shoot me an email with your phone number and I can try to give you a call a little later today.
