Auto Kraft
Hello,
Do you if Auto Kraft in England, the firm who built MKIVs still exist ? If so, does someone has adress and phone number ? Best, Florent |
AutoKraft does not exixt anymore. It became a part of AC when Brian Angliss, the owner, took over AC. AutoKraft continued as a division doing specialty automotive and aircraft work. When AC went into receivership in 1996, AutoKraft ceased to exist as an operating entity. The corporate name was purchsed along with the assetts of AC by the curret thief...er, owner of AC.
AC still claims to make the MK IV but has no facility to do alloy bodys, no staff qualified and no money to operate. Rick:3DSMILE: |
Thanks,
Can you give more details and maybe a tel # to contact this person who owns the AC rights ? Best, Florent |

Cobra Fan,
You should have a look around this website before even thinking about sending money to the current owner of AC cars. There are plenty of complaints about AC accepting money and not being able to deliver. |

Are you sure L bot Autokraft's assets and logo? i would have guessed that it was simply wound up and let to die quietly by L and mostly ignored. The marque AC was the obvious value and Autokraft was perhaps too closely related to Brian's personality. But, admittedly, i don't really remember the details. |
Luby told me that he got the AuoKraft trade name, etc. in the deal but was not using it. One of the shareholders in his house of cards is "AutoKraft Ltd" which is a holding company that the former bank (Abruthnot sp?) has title to. This issue came up in 1999 when Ford saw "AutoKraft" as a shareholder and thought Brain had snuck back in! Nothing got doors slammed in your face at Ford as fast as saying "Brian Angliss!!!" Seems they don't like losing in court at the Blue Oval!

Autokraft #1068 Black 1985
Does anyone know anything about Autokraft #1068???

Autokraft No. 1068
Congratulations on your purchase. I was watching the auction and it looks like a nice car. There's a fellow named Alan Faulkner who is the AC club Mk IV registrar. He has copies of the factory records and can give you some info about the original specs for your car. I got in touch with him through the AC owner's club website, in the discussion forum section. Let us know more details when you get it. John
