WTB: Budget = $32k within 3hrs of 49079 PREFERRED!
OK guys what will $25k get me? I'm not too picky and I am pretty good with a wrench but not a painter! Needs to look and run good but needing some work is fine.
I'm located near Kalamazoo, MI so the closer to me the better. Manual transmission is a MUST |

Wait until November time frame. I stumbled across two cobras in that price range last year. A classic roadster (95") wheelbase. Looked very clean blue/white stripes for 23K. Had a 302 etc. I also stumbled across factory five for 18K it ran but i was not happy with the brakes. Keep an eye on ebay and wait for the first frost. The only reason I did not buy the 23K was I got an incredible deal on a bdr which noyone in their right mind would have passed on. Don't panic they are out there. They will find you tell your buddies you are looking for one and your phone will ring. I had a guy from north carolina call me had one he would let go for 15k need a new wiring harness, looked damn good, black with silver stripes, etc. Rich guys let them sit for a couple years, think they will not be able to sell them, and then you swoop in and get a good deal.

Unless the car has been checked out by a couple of members of this forum I'm not willing to buy without seeing the car myself and checking it out! Also my budget is a MAX of $32k but I said $25k when I started this thread just to see what I can find ;) |
