Itching to build another. My car forsale

Thanks, but not for sale any longer.

I love that picture. It's been my computer screen background at work for over a year. But please don't tell anyone though, I don't want any grief about copyright infringment :).

:)

Ron,

Don't worry, I have been using that picture since the first time I saw it. I think it an almost perfect backgroung. Great car, great background. I wish that I lived in a state that I could register that car in.

Ron :)

Hey, I glad you are using it.. what a honor...
Mabry Mill on the BlueRidge Parkway in Va. is a real hot spot. It took me over an hour to get that shot waiting for nobody to be in the background. Thanks for the compliments... Now, go out and sell that sucker for me... I want to start turning some wrenches....:3DSMILE:

Al: What are you going to build? Will it be another Cobra, a Coupe, GTM or, maybe, a GT40? You wouldn't have a 427 stashed away, would you?%/

Whoever gets your car will have one of the nicest FFs ever built. And, it will provide good seed money for whatever you build. Good luck.

Beautiful picture! I lived in Lenoir, N.C. from 1993 to 1996 and bought my ERA thru Hemmings Motor News in 1993. I think North Carolina is a very beautiful state. I did a lot of hiking and driving on the Parkway while I lived there. Central Pennsylvania is beautiful but not as beautiful as Western N.C. Good luck selling your car and post more pictures of the parkway when you get a chance.

Al:

What color blue is your car? I am about to have my Cobra painted & love
the color of your car. :)

Man, I can't remember.. its something like KM or LM a standard Ford color.. you can contact Jeff Collins at www.whitbymotorcars.com
They painted it. If I do get to build another, it will look the same as the one I have now.. love that color

Raceral,

What about the wheels ? Looks like the centers are painted gold from the pic.

They look NICE! ;)

If so, any chance you would know what color and where they were done? My car is that color and I have been contemplating painting the wheel centers for some time.

Alright Al !

sorry that that beauty has to go away but when the itch starts again you have to do what your heart (and your wife) tells you to do.

I am sure you will be very very Sad after you see the new owner drive it away, you'll probably even cry. but life must go on... onto a newer, better, more powerful project !

I am telling you this because I went thru this already.
Sold my Blue one because after driving my New one, the old one felt like an underpowered truck !

Keep us updated, and good luck on selling it .

Remond,
The coloring that you see is just the natural discoloration from the bare aluminum.... I use some ot that Eagel 1 cleaner for cast aluminum to clean them... it has some acid stuff in it and it makes them almost white it cleans them so good, then I have to polish the rim part...

Ron,
I was told by John at Dynamic Motor Sports (Superformance dealer) in Reno, that we can bring in a used car from out of state and go through the same SB-100 process for registration. There are some exceptions. Check it out and buy Al's. I'm buying a Backdraft out of Texas!
