They were built in Bedford, Texas (suburb of Dallas/Ft Worth). The owner was Jerry Conley and it was a pretty nice car! I had one in 1994-1998. The mold was taken off an original 427 Cobra and he had a lot of aluminum inner panels. Used Ford 9 inch rear ends and any Ford power plant you wanted. Most of the cars were built with the Ford SVO 351 Crate Motors (385 HP) and T5 Ford 5-speed transmissions. Mustang design front ends, 4 wheel disc brakes (Chevy rotors/Calipers). The cars were pretty nice and brought $ 35,000 ti $ 40,000 new depending on equipment. I sold mine for $ 33,000 in 1998 (4 yrs old but only 3,000 miles)
Jerry is still around (retired and only late 40s). He was working on two concept Daytona Coupes last time I talked to him, 6 months ago.
