Highland Daytona Racing

Has anybody had any experience with this company ? Their web site looks good and so does the product. I'm still in my research phase and it seems that for every one company I know two more pop up that I've never heard of

Fordracer,
I am currently in the build process with Rick Ellis at HDR. As far as I am concerned Rick is THE MAN. His concept is that of saftey first, performance second. We a building a variation of 427 roadster but based it on FIA. His frame is chrome moly tube(overbuilt for strength) fully adjustable race suspension. I am using live axle with 2 deg.built in camber 9" rear with Auburn posi dif. 3.50 gears T5Z custom built.
The man is a fanatic. This is basically his Coupe frame but modified for roadster. Pretty much a race car legal for street use. Be aware when you call him he will talk your ear off. I think he lives.eats and sleeps cars. He has made modifications to suspension geometry in collaboration with Terry
Satchel ( Newman/Haas, Rousch), a renowned designer to bring car up to modern GT1 performance standards.
I am going back out to MT. at the end of the month for final fitting and any last adjustments. We plan on going to upcoming Carlisle show with one of his Coupes and my roadster.
If I sound a little biased it's because I am. I think the guy has his head screwed on right and for my money he is a truly dedicated builder. Call him you have nothing to lose but will gain an insight to car design that you may not have known .exists.
