Waiting for my headers since May 14/ 2001
 

Hi Guy's. I have been waiting for my headers for a long time now, and can't beleave it...with all the e-mails I've sent George..and the long distance phone call's to his house asking where are my headers and when would they be shiped. Not counting the money up front for the parts...plus the money up front for the shipping...saying that he wouldn't ship the headers unless I paid first...I got it all...they where shipped to the wrong place, were shiped out yesterday, got lost in the mail, no tracking number because the girl that does that was sick, and so on and so on. I did get my sidepipes...but what good are they with out headers?
This is what pisses me off...you send money for a product and a service...with honor...and he F.......ks you over. If you think I'm mad now George!!!! If you think...just because I live in Canada, that I can't do anything about this...THINK AGAIN!!! I've never seen anything like this at this level...but there is enough here on this site and on the gt40 site to put him away for FRAUD!!!! George I know you will read this...So from all of us....Get your S....t together and ship are parts...it's better to work with metal bars...then be put behind them.

Sorry Guy's...it's been building up for a long time....all because of this a-hole, it's put me back on my build for another year.

I feel for you buddy. And I thought I was getting one put to me by this jerk. I just hope that ANYONE who is just getting started will take the time to read ALL the posts and that it opens up their eyes. This man is a liar of the worst kind. I'm hoping that ALL of the replica manufactures steer customers away from this guy. I know quality is a main concern when you are building your car, But NO ONE should have to be put through this even at the expense of a little lesser quality. This guy should be put out of business for his business practices of lying to the customers the way he does. I can consider myself one of the lucky ones I guess as it took me only 5 months and numerous calls and email threats to get mine. I had told him that the reason for "email bull" as he called it was so I had documentation of what was said on both sides in case it got into a legal situation. I don't know if this made any difference, but I got my headers not too long after that. I hope you get this resolved soon so that you can get working on you car also.

Yes!! I did pay by a US Bank Money Order...and do have all copys of the 50 or so e-mails I sent and the few replys from George...he thinks I lost them...But I have them all. If he doesn't send me my headers within a few weeks...I will forward all this stuff... plus the Bank money order numbers which he cashed in to the Better Business Bureau...and to the Attorney General in Canada and in the United States. I've been vary patient waiting for my headers. But it's time to get tough.....So George if your reading this...you better make amends with your business transactions that are still hanging around waiting for there stuff..honety is the best policy!!!! The thing I hate the most is...I wanted to.. mybe build another replica.....but after this...I probabley wont.
Yes...everybody should get on his case...his phone number does not work...I tried it to day.....Hmmmm!!

PLease post complete info on this fellow (name, number etc..)and his business here, and I will forward it to the US Attn here in Dallas, who happens to be an aquaintance. Maybe he can get some action. When I ask for info, I don't mean a long slam fest..just the details of your transactions, etc... His DBA might br nice as well.

Laurentian Bank Of Canada..in US Funds, money order Number
200210033-7 for the sum of $650.00 US dated May 25/2001.
The other money was for $128.00 US for the shipping cost. The money order number is 200278501-2 dated Nov 6/2001...this check was sent becuse he wouldn't fulfill the contract above...stating that the shipping cost would be sent at the end of me receiving my parts. He said if I didn't send it he wouldn't send me my parts. So I did...being an honest guy.

If you would like the complete story...well I could write a 500 page book....but that would be to much.

This is so depressing and uncalled for.
Most people know me...I have been building my Cobra from scratch over the internet for the last 2.5 years...and have bought almost all my parts this way and have never not paid for an item. I have had a great chance to meet alot of you. You have
been so helpful like Don scott, Ed Combs, Petek with his Cobra build site....and many, many more of you's it's been a real priveledge....knowing if I screw up you guys are there to show your wisdom, and experties and get me out of the mess.

I'm waiting for a full-width roll bar, delaying my body/paint guy until I've got the holes cut, etc. STILL hoping to have the car finished by May 18th so I can give my 72 year old father a ride when he comes down from Anchorage for our daughter's graduation.

Between the folks here and the folks over at the GT40 forum ... well, let's just observe that the combined financial strength could very easily finance a class action suit of some merit.

Personally all I want is my roll bar and the answer to one simple question: what the heck does this guy do all day long that causes him to neglect the vast number of paid-in-full orders?

Hey Snake, boy this is a small world. Just a couple of days ago, I sent my new set of Classic Roadsters headers out to be Jet Hot coated. I have a 1991 version of the CR cobra and when I bought it, the header sizes for small block Fords must have been 1 1/2" o.d. pipe. They currently come with 1 3/4" o.d. pipes. I'm taking delivery of a 393W stroker tomorrow and I knew the small headers would choke my new motor. Now, I have a Jet Hot coated set of 1 1/2" o.d. headers for a small block Ford sitting in my shop collecting dust. DV has made me an offer for them, but if you can get your money back from the @#$#%% you ordered yours from, we could make a deal that would be beneficial to the both of us. If not, I hope you get the one's you ordered soon. Nice weather is just around the corner.

Thanks Buddy! But in my rage I ended up buying a set from Jack21 on March 8, 2002 ...Thanks John ...He's a great saver, helped me out a few times with parts. But even though I had to pay for another set of headers.....I still want the ones I payed for from Kustom Metal Werks...or at least a good chunk of my money back! I don't know what you wanted for your headers...but am curious. Send me an e-mail with the price...but I think that DV should have them...he was first...and I beleave in first come first serve....well most of the time. Hehehehehe!
