team III back spacing
Hi, I am interested in selling my trigos if I can figure out which Team III dimensions would look right on my car. The trigo backspacing puts my wheels a little closer to the edge than I want to. I would need 15x8s in the front with 6 inch backspacing.
and in the rear I would want the 15x10 with 7 inch back spacing. Has anybody used this combo, I am told that with a front spacing less than 3.5 inches, the 15 inch wheels start to look a little funny. Any thoughts out there and any pictures please tell me how to check them out. Many thanks fm |

I know how it works, I just want to know what they look like with outsized backspacing, the owner of Team III said that if I like the way my trigos look, I would be disappointed with a heavy backspace. I just wanted to see for myself how such a finished wheel would look from photographs if somebody tried doing what I am trying to accomplish which is to use different wheels as opposed to narrowing the rear and relocating the upper and lower control arms in order to stuff my tires further into the wheel wells.
thanks fm |

If you are going to spend the money on Team III wheels go with 17" wheels. You will love the Z rated tires you can buy! There is no selection of speed rated 15" tires. Clois |
The owner Scott, really spent a lot of time explaining to me the look and feel for the different offsets, he did mention that the 17 inch requires only 2.5 inches of front spacing to still look cool, it just means that I have to spend the dough on all new tires, but maybe that's the best, i would love to see some good photos of your wheels, and tell me what offsets you have and all the details if you don't mind!!

FM,I might be interested in buying your trigos and tires if you change. What is the size and backspacing of them? thanks;chuck

thanks chuck, i have 205s in the front and 265s in the rear, I think they're all 60s. I also have a set of 295/50s for the rear. I will find out how long it takes to get the new wheels and see if we can work something out. Somebody on this forum is advertising a set of just the trigo wheels for 1800, i was thinking like 2k for the wheels, adapters with tires + the extra tires in the rear.

Let me know what you decide.thanks;chuck
