After shopping around to have my headers
and side-pipes metallic ceramic coated, I
lucked into Southern Competition Coatings

I had gotten estimates for as high as
800 dollars for the set from other shops,
and thought that was robbery. (It was.)
Shop owner Steve Conner blasted and cleaned
my 5 year old plumbing and coated it with
his Black Satin finish. The results are
stunning! The total? $220.00 for the whole
set, and the turn time was 4 days. Steve
and his wife are a pleasure to deal with.
They offer several types of finish including
silver metallic ceramic, and thermal barrier
coatings. The work includes a one year warranty. S.C.C. will send you a price list
if you request it. Steve's shop is near the
Gainsville, FL area and they will pick up
your parts near I - 75 if you wish.
Steve is often in the shop, but he will
return your call if you page him. I'm
very satisfied with S.C.C.! Nice people,
outstanding work, and a fair price.

I also gave SCC a try. Very quick! Inexpensive and top notch work. I would recommend them to anyone.

S.C.C. comes through, again!

My 1993 headers finally gave up the ghost, so
I had a new set ordered from Midstates along with
fresh sidepipes, tips, and mounting clamps.

I dropped the whole set off with Steve Conner
at S.C.C., had the headers heat barrier coated,
then all of the parts plated inside and out with his "chrome look" metallic ceramic coating.

The price for everything was only $340.00 and the turn around time was a short 4 days. The results are simply amazing! Southern Comp. Coatings does
superior work than Jet Hot at HALF the cost. Why would you go anywhere else?
