The Engine Factory

:D The consumer watch forum is for both good and bad information and reports. Well I posted my share of bad news so I thought I would post some good news.

I just received my engine and tranny from The Engine Factory. These guys were GREAT. I worked with Christian on my order. He helped out with all of me silly questions, he quoted every odd and end configuration, change or modification I ask about. Not only did he respond but he did it very quickly, in most cases the same day. When I placed the order he gave me the estimated ship date, when a supplier shipped them one wrong part he notified me right away and told me when the right part would be in and when they would be shipping. The part came in a day early and two days later my engine and tranny are setting in my garage. I can't say anything bad about these guys or my experience. After my last engine experience noted in this forum, this was a great relief and experience. It has renewed my faith in people.

Jim, good for you. So what did you get? I'm in the middle of an engine build myself and interested in this subject.

I got the 351W with 400hp. I think it is rated a little higher on the hp but it is listed as 400hp. It is the Cobra package, with rocker rollers, polished intake and a HP starter. They aslo set me up with a Tremec TKO tranny, blow proof bell housing and everything else needed to compelte the power train.

Like Gorden said, their a Great Choice.
