Have one of their kits. Really bad fiberglass lamination work, Not reliable time frame. Many excuses. Frame work and components are acceptable. My final product had to have the fiberglass all redone but the final product looks marvelous after total rebuild by local company, adds about 5000.00 to the end price. This kit was bought in 2002. completed this week.

Company has been taking a lot of peoples money in the past 2 years and not delivery a finished product. 6 lawsuits being filed or have been filed. This company has no ability or money to complete a car. I am surprised you got a kit from Paul in 2002, as there was about 5 people he owned cars to ahead of you, which had already been paid for.

I finished my car by myself, (at my own expense) after purchasing a turn key. Having problems with my body also, with bubblies etc.
What size tires/rims did you evenutually go with (my passenger side rear wheel well is about 3" wider than the driver side). I also have a 390

Hi, I used 235/60 on frt and 275/50 on rear, very close diameter 26.1 frt and 25.9 rear. THe car was ordered in early Nov 2001 for April @002 delivery. I got it in late Aug. by the time I had it running it was to late for the season. I had it mobile for 2003 but only 175 miles for shake down. The body was completely redone, 150 holes filled, lights corrected, pax rear wheel well corrected and repainted all at my expense. I am happy with it now..82271 P.S. I used 1978 Porsche 924 alignment figures...

Heard there is fraud charges being laid in Midland by 20 plus buyers in March 2004

82271 03-08-2004 05:55 PM

Guess I was lucky to escape with at least something to show for my money.82271

fomocohipo 03-10-2004 02:50 PM

Talked to a lot of guys who paid a lot of money and did not receive what they were told or have lots of chassis and body problems.

66snake 03-11-2004 08:29 PM

Basically had to re-do most of the rear end, front end along with complete body re-do. Can't believe this guy ever thought he could make a car. Lot's of people after him now and it is about time. Gives the whole industry a bad name.

Hello,
I know this thread is ancient. But I own a Cobra International. I require an address for the now bankrupted company. The MTO requires it even though they don't exist anymore (?) Does anyone have a old address from the firm?
Please and thank you.

82271 05-05-2008 12:47 PM

Cobra International

The last address that I have for Midland is 2166 Old Fort Road, Midland Ontario L4R 4K3
Tel # 705-527-6722... I know the owner had a heart attack and was not in very good shape 3 years ago. I had heard there were other legal problems as well. Hope this helps but the info is Dated.......................

Venamm 05-05-2008 08:21 PM

Awesome much thanks.
MTO needs to know who the maker was even though they don't exist anymore.

Please share you you images as I started a Cobra International Alumni or Fisker hater group as some call it. I know of 5 out there.

I know this is an old thread. I have a Fisker and need a new rear suspension lower A arm. Any chance anyone knows what was used for rear suspension. It’s a 66 Cobra.
