Classic Roadsters II...... Don Scott
I'm not sure where to start, so I'll go back to June 04. That's when I delivered my car to a shop for body mounting. body work and paint. I got my car back 5 months later after numerous delays and excuses. Bottom line is, the car was totaled! Body not mounted correctly, very poor body work, amateur paint and stripes. The list goes on. It would be less expensive to replace the body than to repair the damage. (Classic Roadsters II bodies are very good to start with.) I have local estimates and Ed Combs has inspected it.
This is where it gets unbelievable! Don Scott has committed to replacing all the parts necessary to make my car right! That's right.....brackets that were cut and welded incorrectly, roll bars finished and installed wrong and a new body! I was up to see Don at CRII. He knows what was done to my car. He DID NOT, by the way, have anything to do with the finish work. He told my wife and I that he "cannot have an unhappy Classic Roadster owner." Don told us that between him and Ed Combs (DV) my car will be finished right. This is way too much! This, without a doubt, shows what kind of business he is running and what kind of person we are dealing with. No one out there cares more about customers. Check out the cars and products Classic Roadsters II has to offer. With Don Scott you will be dealing with one of the good guys in this industry. Don and DV......hope you don't mind this post, but without you guys, I'm screwed. It was over for me. You guys go way beyond!!! Thank You Charlie |
Just another unsolicited testimonial -
I got my CR kit in '99. During the build we were frequently referred to DS for information which he readily provided. This was before he had any stake in the company. To this date, any time I have needed info, parts, whatever, Don or Pete have been there to help. To me, a big part of getting something is the continuing service capability and I think CR II would be hard to beat. My .02 cents. |
Ditto
Without DON, DV and Pete my car would have never made the cover of kitcar magazine. Thanks guys. (again) |
I just called Don last friday to ask him a couple of questions about my ignition wiring problem that I have posted here on another thread. There was nothing in it for him, but he took the time to get his books and read me the wiring connections, and discussing the problem in general, while offering some suggestions. He was very patient and helpful.
