EZ Pass use on highways in NH

During our monthly NE breakfast last weekend the topic of EZ Pass came up. One member of our group has been informed, via their EZP CS Department, that starting Memorial Day speed will be checked when entering the toll itself. It will be a $25 violation over 10mph sent to you via the mail. Second they are going to clock between toll booths then = TICKET those moving to fast. OUCH

I have heard rumors of this in the past but this is crazy! If I go 10mph through the toll I will be rear ended for sure.........

I may return to paying the old fasion way and skip the big brother routine....

Even the paper ticket stub is time stamped. I always take a break at a rest stop when I'm on a Thru-way in the Cobra.

Two years ago coming back from the Limerock Vintage festival in the Cobra I approched the Throggs Neck Bridge EZ Pass toll what I thought was a normal speed.....the officer at the toll turned off the gate and made me sit there until he gave me a "WHAT FOR"

I always wondered if the autorities could ticket you from the time distance between tolls. Thats not good !!
