SF Bay Area (Local) Towing Companies
Does anyone in the SF Bay Area have a recommendation for a local flatbed towing service? Thank you.

Hi Rob,
American Towing has done a good job with dead cobras for me over the years.......They have the blocks and take care to pull the Cobra up with out damage going on and coming off. What do you need them for...the guys in BACC may be able to help. TR |
Thanks Tony. I'm trying to get my Kirkham, sans engine and tranny, from SF to Hall Fabrication & Racing in Benicia.
Can you tow me in your GT? No, really, one of these days I want to get a ride, since a GT may be my next project "somewhere over the rainbow" from now. :D |
You might consider calling one of the Porsche or Ferrari Stores to see who they recommend.

No problem Rod,
I did the Brake and light inspection on Friday......Plates this week from the DMV. I have heard that some CHP officers have handed out tickets to people with TOP (Temporary operating permits) when they were not on trips to complete the SB100 requirements and I want to get it done before I take the GT everywhere. The tow companies I mentioned have towed Cobras for me in the past and they would treat your Kirkham with the tender loving care it deserves....make sure when you call them that they know what you towing and they will send the appropriate rig and experienced driver. Most of these people have had experience with exotics i.e. Ferrari, Lamboghini, Cobras etc. TR |
The Guy who towed my SPF2734 on election night was dispatched from AAA san jose, and had a double articulated flat bed. -- i wish i had a video. -- too cool.
and yes, his name was Joe the Tow truck driver. |
