Help with Contemporary Cobra
Does anyone have photos of cowl hoop and where it attaches to frame? Photos of frame where the roll bars are attached? Also what is the normal clearance between rear inboard disc and lower control arm? Mine is very close.
Thanks Michael

Michael,
Hopefully there is something in my gallery that can help you. Keep in mind, however, my car was originally built with no roll bar. The roll bar mounts you see in the pictures were custom built by Nick Acton. They're not Contemporary factory roll bar mounts.

Michael the cowl hoop is glassed into the cowl and has bolt flanges on the floor in the footboxes to attach it to the frame. I'll see if I can find a pic for you.

cowl hoop
the hoop was fitted and welded in place, if you look close most welds are only where you can see , look on the back sides and there are no welds. i removed mine by cutting the three 5/8" tubes that hold the dash hoop and rotating it out then flanged them to make them bolted. tigged welded all brackets cleaned and radius all corners, blasted and painted and reinstalled.

Thanks to all, If anyone had some close up photos of where the roll bar meets the frame Id appreciate it. Also if someone could point me to the "how to post pics in these threads" info Id appreciate it.
