hey thanks agin for the info. I went out this morning to take it to work and it had yet another crack. OH WELL. I have ordered the lexan and will install this weekend. PROBLEM SOLVED! so last night went over to a buddies shop, he had a superformance cobra that had spit out a cam bearing in a Roush motor. got to inspect very close. It had the bars going from the front suspension to the firewall. Also had the support braces going up the tunnel behind the dash up to the under dash bar. I have built many rock crawlers so this is on the (within the month) list. The dash has been ordered from chuck @ cobra restorers with all smiths. (AutoMeter sport comps now). and carpet on the to-do-list. so nows the time. This should solve the issue. Will figure out how to getthe bar around the foot box. I am also going to build a weld in roll bar with a diagonal support in trunk (hidden) going to passenger side.
NOW.... any ideas on fuel cells or tanks? mine has a very small (was told camaro? gas tank. need bigger/safer. found a cell on summit for 250.00 that I could make work.... any other suggestions.
