ccx trans tunnel

Has anyone modified their trans tunnel so it looks like the original?
I am at the point where I can make the changes to the section from the firewall back to behind the seats. I don't want to change the footboxes as they are bonded into the body (just modify them).

I had Nick Acton cut 4" from my tunnel for more leg room and then moved the rear header forward and gained 2" in the foot box. Lots more room now.

I have seen the tunnels made removable like originals. Why not do that and graft on some glass extensions on the front of the footboxes to get it in further. Do it Rocco, you know you can and want to!

Removable tunnel now there's an idea.
My previous Dax had that and a hatch in the rear firewall for rear brake access.
I might do it on the CCX while I still can.
