Which Fuel Tank
I need to get my fuel tank to mock up my under car exhaust. I thing they originally called for a Camaro fuel tank? I know Nick has a nice tank but as I remember it was a little spendy. Are there any other alternatives?

BTW, Nick is making the aluminum fender liners that go behind your rear tires. Really dresses the car up and makes it look like an authentic shelby. I'm good at spending other peoples money. "Tank" care! Mike |
Get one of the Camaro tanks new from Rock for $100 and relocate the fill tube, then buy a new gauge that will work with a GM sender, then get a sender that reads empty at empty. Add a vent so you can actually try and fill it with the angle under the frame.
I might be able to set you up with one I just replaced already set up for a CCX. You won't find anyone will ship a tank that has had gas in it. By the time you pressure wash the gas fumes out and pack it up for shipping you have more into it than the new one at Rock.camaro+tank+stainless - JEGS High Performance Find a good local sheet metal shop to build you one. It's all about options.................... |
I have a 22 gallon Contemporary Tank that I'll sell you if you're interested. Let me know and I'll send photos.

Don't be such a tight ass. I own a Acton Custom tank and LOVE it. I no longer need to fill up 3 times a day.

Go in the right direction, Acton Custom makes a custom designed ally tank designed for CCX that fits underneath exact to S/C specification. It looks awsome, new and adds capacity. Worth the $!
Do it right. |
