Jaguar Differential Output Shaft Orientation

I have looked online and in the Jag repair manual but I cannot find anything stating the orientation of the diff output shafts relative to each side. Should they be oriented together or should they be out of phase from each other? I have seen pictures showing the flanges/u-joints aligned, maybe 10 degrees separated, and 90 degrees from each other. Is there any advantage to how they are aligned?

Thanks,
Tim

I used to go thru a painful routine realigning mine. Going forward and back turn right and left, climbing under the car with a flashlight at times. Then I found out this was not needed. Saved me a real hassle that I'm glad I no longer need to do. Soon as you go thru a turn they will move wherever in relation.:JEKYLHYDE

Seriously though, unless your running a spool or your gears are welded. The two sides run independent to each other. No need!

Thanks Ralphy. That's what I was thinking but wanted to check.
