rad hose routing
hi all,
we have an 86 contemporary running a small block ford. temp runs high at times. mostly when stuck in traffic. can anyone give a description or picture of how the rad hoses are run? i'm assuming bottom hose of rad to water pump. top hose of rad into tank, out of tank to thermostat housing. we are trying to get everything back in working order. will be posting pics of progress. we have an electric fan mounted on the inside of the radiator drawing inwards. do you guys mount your fans on the outside? thank you for any help. greg |
Hi Greg, do you have the manual? It spells out all the part numbers and parts for hooking it up. Send me a PM or an e-mail address to send the manual to if you need it. Typically a good puller fan is behind the radiator and we use dual pushers for looks and a bit of assistance to the cooling. What kind of radiator do you have?
