Fluidyne Radiators

I am looking to upgrade my cooling system.
Does anyone have experience with a 5 cell Fluidyne radiator in a Contemporary Classic ? I am looking to upgrade my cooling system. New radiator, Puller Fan, & double pusher fans. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, was a perfect choice for my old car. There is a little bit of work to be done but easy stuff.
Think I long ago posted a step by step.
Was a great choice for me at the time.

Why? Are you over heating? My observation/conclusion was that with the oil cooler and the fluidyne on my Roush 427 the engine was over cooled. The only way I could get a good operating temp at modest speeds was to change the thermostat. Next would have been an oil cooler thermostat too.

Upgrading

I am replacing my 351 cleveland with 427 Ford FE. I did have issues with the 351 if I would sit an idle, so I thought I would upgrade the coolant system while the 427 was being installed.

I have a Griffen rad with a 12 inch electric fan never runs over 170

Like you, I also replaced my CCX's 351C with a FE. I installed the Fluidyne radiator using an Acton Custom radiator kit. I have a Spal puller fan with an Acton shroud, and two pusher fans out front. My FE is not easy to keep cool, it's a 744HP 520" 11:1 compression engine, and the Fluidyne setup keeps it cool even in the Houston heat here.

I would avoid parts purchases from NH.
