Larger Front Brake Rotors
1 Attachment(s)
Has anyone replaced their 11" front rotors with larger diameter rotors on a CCX Cobra? Any info on your build, parts and results would be appreciated.

I upgraded from the standard 10.5" Diameter to the 11" Diameter rotors. I would think you might need to switch to a radial mount caliper to go to a larger diameter yet. A radial mount caliper would not have required modification as the Wilwoods I had required modification to prevent hitting the upper control arm.
Club Cobra - mvanhorn8893's Album: Front Brake Rotor Upgrade I'd also like to learn if anyone has went to a larger rotor and how they accomplished it. Mike |
Can anyone identify the part number for the 11 inch rotor shown in the picture. I am trying to find a replacement for my CCX

I had 12.19” rotors and Wilwood calipers on my Hurricane with 15” wheels. They were about as big as you could go with those wheels.
