Contemporary owners at SAAC 33

Are any of you East coast guys planning on attending and bringing your cars to the Convention at Thunderbolt raceway in NJ next August?
I have been to many conventions and not ever seen a gathering of Contemporarys. Lots of ERA's, Superformance, FFR's seem to all set up camp in one place.
I am planning on bringing my Contemporary just for some limited open track/parade laps and if others are bringing theirs perhaps we can all gather in one place.
The group that I travel with(Club Cranky) from track to track for Open track events are not Contemporary or even Cobra open trackers.(they drive mostly Mustangs) but for this event I would like to spend some time with the group of Contemporary owners.
I am also a NASA HPDE instructor so if any of you guys need instruction in your Cobras I am sure I can arrange some instruction time.

I think there was an SPF Corral at VIR, set up by a dealer.
Send a note to SAAC if you get enough guys and tell 'em you want a CCX Corral area.

RD,

I am already registered and accomodations reserved. I plan to drive down to arrive Thursday night for a three nights stay leaving Sunday mid afternoon. I hope to bring along Dave with CCX3-4007. Doug in NJ will show if he can complete his resoration in time I am sure.

There are a couple other CCX owners here in NH but they seem to be saving mileage for the next owners.

See you there!

Ron, they didn't just have a corral, I think they brought in every SPF that they could find in VA,NC. They took up way too much space for their own car show right in the middle of the paddock for race cars.

Hopefully we can get 4-5 Contemporarys together.

I can only hope I'm done and ready to go by then - I'd sure love to make it.

I am planning on going right now. But thinking I am going to have to trailer down. I'd have to mortgage my house to feed my car on a trip like that.:3DSMILE:

We really should try to get all the CCX cars we can together. This sight and all of Jeff's efforts have rekindled the interest in the Contemporary mark making it quite worthy of a show of force.

Doug...beer, pizza, wrenches...we'll help! Lets get that puppy done and on the road!
