Some good info for owners of Contemporary Cobras
I found this thread under a different topic. I thought is might be appropriate to post it here.

Speaking of Contemporary Cobras...
I have original sales literature (full color glossy brochure, price sheets for all possible flavors and options, nice letter from Peter Bayer, a C&D article by Patrick Bedard about CC Cobras that Peter would send customers, etc.) that I've kept in a file for the last 20+ years from when I tried to buy a CC Cobra. If anybody is really interested in it, I can put it all in a hi-resolution PDF and set it up via high speed FTP download for you. But don't make me go to the trouble of doing it unless you're seriously interested in it.:D:rolleyes:

Sounds great I wouldn't mind getting that.

Bonus Material
That CC literature wasn't the only stuff I saved. Here is a Car & Driver I saved from the day it was delivered to me in February, 1970. I've put it in the ftp folder in hi-def. It is one of my favorite Cobra articles. Since everybody seems kind of bored, here's something fun to read. Maybe I should post this as a new topic instead of hiding it here.

Thanks Pat!

Thanks Pat, mine is being delivered this sat. These articles will make a nice brochure to go along with the car. The guy i bought it from is sending down a whole book and the car but I printed these out in case he didn't include them with the car.

Pat -
Thanks for posting the stuff to an ftp. I still have mine, too (the Contemporary literature packet AND the C&D magazine) - stashed away somewhere here. They'll be a lot easier to find on my computer, now. Contemporary made a beautiful car - it was the only other make I seriously considered before making my decision to go with an ERA. regards, Jeff |
Jeff, both are a great choice, especially the later version Contemp. One of the car mags did some side by sides with an original cobra and it came out looking and performing very close to the original.
