Hey All, I am an Australian newbie and have been tempted with a Cobra. I know it is not an original, it has a fiberglass body with a tag on the firewall "Contemporary Classics Mt. Vernon NY" and serial #3164.
It has 2 carbs (assume so because 2 air filters) and the Rocker (valve) covers have SC Shelby on them.
The chassis is 4" tube, the wheels are knock offs and apart from that I have a few photos if anybody can help.
Thanks
Alan

You are in the right forum. I have Contemporary Classic #3155 so our cars are just 9 chassis apart. These are great cars. I have had this one for 11 years and can't begin to tell of the pleasure we have had. It was built in the early 80s and first registered in 1986. It has a 427 side oiler and all jag front and back ends. The jag suspension and inboard brakes are very good. My advice - go and buy it!
