ccx
Hello to all, this is my first post. I have been looking for a cobra for the last year or so. I finally made the purchase last week, but I'am still waitng for delivery.
I have some question regarding these cars, I have looked at about five or six contemporary cobras and one of them had these odd rear hubs with upper links? They were not the std jag hubs, I was woundering who made these hubs and are they functional?
Will the bill board tires fit on these cars with the vintage knock off wheels?
Is there an aluminum under hood and trunk kit available?
I hope to post some photos when she arrives.

I think I know of two you looked at Jeffs CCX and Pats Aurora. It sounds like you are looking at a Watts link on the rear hub. That is a nice addition to these rear ends and and stops forward back movement of the hubs. They are made by George Petrus at http://www.justcobras.com/

engine and trunk kits
The gentelman you might want to talk to for the engine and trunk kits is at. www.cobrapanels@roadrunner.com or you can private message him at just cobra panels. If you do a search of contemporary you will find his thread and address.

Where is it from Racco? Is there an ad on Club Cobra, Cobra Country or Ebay we can look at?

It was on ebay but the link no longer works (past 90 days). When the car arrives I'll post some photos.
