Clutch Slave Cylinder
 
I am looking for a new slave cylinder for an early ccx. What did they use, part # or a source?

Racco, Take a look at www.speedwaymotors.com they have a push type 7/8 bore #910-25605 and the push rod 910-25606 or look at www.lefthanderchassis.com they have one #125-305 that looks the same as speedways the two of these look identical to the one i have. Hope this helps....Bob

thanks Bob, the slave on my car looks different than the two on the links. I guess I will have to remove it and have a better look.

ccx slave cylinder
 
my ccx was mfg. in 1981 an had a volvo slave cylinder, i think it was a 1600. reworked mine to use a better an less expensive one from NAPA. had to make a new bracket but got a better alingment . if you would like the part number send me a e-mail peterousselbk@yahoo. new slave cylinder was $20 compared to the volvo which was $70.
